Welcome to our conversation on Coaching in Crisis.
We are facing unprecedented times with the Covid-19 crisis sweeping the world. We are seeing an immediate need for support as organisations are having to rapidly make changes and people are facing a wave of personal and professional change. We are also starting to look forward into a 'new normal' where social distancing and working at home become our new ways of working.
We as coaches, recognise the immediate need to help people through this period of uncertainty and change but also recognise the longer term impact of how these changes will affect how people live and work. We know that there are both anxieties and opportunities offered by this crisis in the short and long term. We also believe that when we are coaching in these unusual times that we can learn important lessons about how to best support people through pulling together as a collective to share, learn and improve our coaching approaches.
We are interested in hearing from professional coaches about what they are experiencing and learning from coaching in a crisis. This piece of research will provide an opportunity for those people coaching in this time of crisis to reflect on what they are experiencing with a view to capturing useful infromation on whats working well, less well and sharing these insights with others so we can all do our best to support people's wellbeing.
